BBQ & Lecture

In our final week, our primary focus was on the project, but we managed to engage in other endeavors. A few days before our final presentation, our professor, together with the owner of the Action Spot, hosted a BBQ at Vasona Lake for our class. With a delightful spread of meats, buns, and fresh veggies, it was an evening to remember.

The next morning, Mrs. Basu taught us once again about entrepreneurship, wrapping up her series of lectures.

Finishing the Project

Final touches

Throughout the week we were immersed in preparing the conclusion of our project. Thus, on Tuesday morning we had a call with our project sponsor to discuss pending tasks ahead of Thursday's handover meeting.

We made final tweaks, such as installing and setting up some final plugins, wrapping up the test report for our sponsor’s new app, fine-tuning the homepage and preparing for the handover meeting.

After our modifications and the designer's contributions, the homepage transformed into this:

Simultaneously, we dedicated time to curate our final presentation, scheduled for Friday.

By Thursday afternoon, we successfully conducted our handover meeting and with that the main part of our project was finished. We then reviewed our final presentation together to ensure its success.

Our efforts culminated in a well-received presentation, which we celebrated with our classmates with a meat-rich burger and sandwich lunch at a nearby local restaurant.

End of project & blog

With this, we draw a curtain not only on our project but also on this blog series.

Signing off with fond memories, Dario M., Hiro & Dario S., (ltr)
